Meet Jarad, the Ambassador

We are thrilled to introduce Jarad, known throughout our AbilityOne program team at Coast Guard Island as “The Ambassador.”  Jarad has truly earned this nickname, over his past 8 years as a Food Service Worker, through his unwavering commitment to helping others and his remarkable ability to make new employees feel welcome and supported.

Whenever someone new joins our team, Jarad is the first to step up and offer his guidance. He partners with new employees, patiently teaching them the systems and processes that keep our program running smoothly. His approachable demeanor and clear communication style make learning easier for everyone, ensuring that new team members quickly feel confident in their roles.

Jarad’s willingness to assist others doesn’t stop at onboarding. Whether it’s answering questions or simply lending a listening ear, Jarad is always there for his colleagues. His positive attitude and collaborative spirit create a supportive atmosphere that benefits the entire team.

We are incredibly lucky to have Jarad as part of our AbilityOne program. His dedication, kindness, and leadership inspire everyone around him. Jarad embodies the values we strive for, and we are proud to have him on our team.
